You must be logged in as a host to contact a guest. If you are not yet registered, register for free.
Step 1 — Find a guest listing
Browse guest listings on the site to find students looking for accommodation in your area. Open a listing that looks like a good match.
Step 2 — Send a message
Scroll down the guest's listing page to the Contact section. Type your message and click Send.
The guest will receive an email notification letting them know they have a message waiting in their inbox on the site.
Step 3 — Wait for a reply
When the guest replies you will receive an email notification. Log in and go to your Inbox to read and respond.
Tips for a good first message:
- Introduce yourself and your household
- Mention your location and any nearby universities, transport links, or amenities
- Describe what you offer — meals included, private bathroom, laundry access, etc.
- Ask about their arrival date and length of stay
